Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis media pembelajaran yang digunakan guru Biologi SMA Negeri di kota Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey. Prosedur penelitian meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru biologi yang mengajar di SMA Negeri di kota Pontianak yang berjumlah 24 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu teknik komunikasi tidak langsung menggunakan angket dan teknik komunikasi langsung dengan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis media pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru biologi SMA Negeri di kota Pontianak adalah media visual, audiovisual dan multimedia dengan persentase berturut-turut 56,48%, 12,04%, 31,48%.
Learning media is a tool in delivering learning material. The use of instructional media is proven effective in increasing understanding of a material. It's just that, the learning media used today tend to only contain material taken from textbooks, even though the media can also be developed based on the results of research or observations made in the field or in the laboratory. This study aims to determine the feasibility of the booklet developed by the inventory of medicinal plants in Pontianak City as a learning medium. The research stages include determining potentials and problems, gathering information, designing booklets, validating booklets, and revising booklets. The initial stage of making a booklet is to carry out an inventory of medicinal plant species and design the contents. The feasibility of the booklet is seen from the evaluation by the validator. The research instrument was a validation sheet. The aspects assessed include aspects of format, content, and language. From the six indicators on the format aspect, validity 1 is obtained, from two three indicators in the content aspect, validity is obtained 1, and from the two indicators on the language aspect, validity is obtained. 1. Overall, from the three aspects, the average validity is 1 with very high criteria. It can be concluded that this booklet is suitable for use as a learning medium
This study aimed to determine the feasibility of the human excretory system module. The method of this research used was a quantitative descriptive through the instrument of a validation sheet modules which validated by two expert validators. The aspects assessed include the feasibility of the content, language, presentation, and graphics. The results of this research showed the average aspects of feasibility of the content reached the value of 1.00 within the 'very feasible' category. The conclusion is the human excretory system module can be useful in teaching biology, especially in human excretory system materials.
Film dokumenter merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran yang telah terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan film dokumenter sebagai media pembelajaran pada submateri zat aditif di kelas VIII SMP. Film dokumenter ini memuat pengertian zat aditif, jenis-jenis zat aditif, zat aditif alami dan sintetis serta contohnya masing-masing. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian research and development. Film dokumenter ini memuat submateri zat aditif, selain itu juga memuat hasil uji formalin pada tahu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian research and development. Validasi film dokumenter sebagai media pembelajaran dilakukan oleh validator, adapun aspek yang dinilai meliputi aspek format, isi, bahasa, dan pengoperasian. Hasil validasi menunjukkan film dokumenter dinyatakan valid dengan rata-rata total validasi 3,93. Disimpulkan bahwa media film dokumenter layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.
One of the skills developed in the 21st century is creative thinking skills. Creative thinking is a thought process that produces a wide variety of possible ideas and various solutions. The theme of environmental change and waste recycling is one of the learning themes closely related to everyday life. This study aims to analyze students’ creative thinking skills in biology subjects with environmental change and waste recycling. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The subjects of this study were 32 students of class X science Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The technique of collecting data wasa test of creative thinking skills in the form of description questions. The questions used were based on indicators from Torrance (1969). The percentage of each indicators, namely fluency was in the medium category (55.5%), flexibility was in the medium category (52.3%), originality was in the medium category (50.8%), and elaboration was in the low category (32.9%). The average of all indicators was 48%. Based on findings, it can be concluded the ability to think creatively is still low. Further research requires a learning model to improve creative thinking skills such as the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) or Project Based Learning (PjBL) model.
