Rural entrepreneurship development is one of the strategies for encouraging the acceleration of rural development by focusing on the exploration of local resources. The role of rural entrepreneurship is crucial in creating new economic activities that can help to reduce unemployment and poverty, especially in rural areas. One of the Indonesian government's programs for encouraging rural entrepreneurship is establishing BUMDes -a village-owned enterprise. This study aims to propose a participatory rural development model to optimize stakeholder collaboration in promoting local economic growth in rural areas. This study uses a qualitative method with a multicase study approach. There are three BUMDes from three regencies in West Java, Indonesia participated in this research. Triangulation used to check the validity of the data by comparing the results of interviews, FGD's, observations and secondary data. The results of the study found three sustainability dimensions to measure the success of BUMDes performance such as economic sustainability, social sustainability and market sustainability. The results suggest a collaborative model to optimizing BUMDes performance. The new model illustrates the collaboration between stakeholders to pursue rural entrepreneurship sustainability.
Digital companies must improve their business models evolutionarily and innovatively. Therefore, IT investment, especially for revitalizing digital capabilities for operational changes, is important. Most companies are looking to source innovation from outside organizations. Partnership assessment is a crucial problem since it is not easy to integrate internal and external capabilities. The study aims to define business model innovation based on system dynamics with partnership scenarios. Open innovation is needed to evolve to meet market expansion. Partnership and IP strategies are discussed. System Dynamics modeling is utilized to map a system structure to capture its behavior and the relationships between elements, creating a simulation over time. The study develops a BMI to show how OI variables significantly contribute to the engine of growth for digital companies. The simulation reveals that OI has a significant effect on the company’s performance, indicated by significantly growing revenue after two years. At the early stage, patenting IP is not practical since the companies involved are unclear about the detailed IP. The IP success or the partner failure rate does not affect revenue significantly. After two years, companies sharing IP find the best way to benefit from it and lead to sustainable growth.
While some other countries had started their 5G deployment with excellent business use cases, Indonesia is restrained for a moment due to the unreadiness of 5G actors. Several factors which still need attention from 5G actors in Indonesia are telecommunication infrastructures such as spectrum frequency and transport, policy and regulation, innovation ecosystem and social impact. Despite those concerning factors, there are also key drivers that stimulate the 5G deployment in Indonesia. They are demand and needs from end customers, cost reduction and additional revenue stream from mobile network operator, industry automation and country competitive advantage. Two scenarios are built using those key drivers following the scenario-based planning methodology. The scenarios are called The Optimistic Champion and The Wait and Respond.
The implementation of licensing services through Online Single Submission (OSS) at the Binjai City Investment Service and One-Stop Integrated Licensing Service (DPMPPTSP) can still be said to be unsatisfactory because it still has problems in licensing services, especially Construction Services Business Permit (IUJK) services. This study is to determine the quality of licensing services through OSS at the DPMPPTSP Binjai City and to find out the inhibiting factors for the implementation of licensing through OSS at the Binjai City DPMPPTSP. This research method uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate the quality of licensing services through OSS at DPMPPTSP of Binjai City which is examined from the dimensions of service quality, namely Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance ( guarantee), Empathy (empathy) as a whole is considered good but not optimal. The DPMPPTSP Of Binajai City is expected to have a technical team located at the Dinas and Dinas to conduct socialization regarding the use of the OSS system to the public so that the public is able to register their own permits and not through third parties/brokers.
