O presente artigo apresenta a discussão acerca das contribuições de Vygotsky e sua teoria Histórico-cultural na construção do sujeito e seu desenvolvimento através das interações com o meio e o processo de mediação proposto pelo autor na construção desse processo. O estudo partiu do contexto prático e do trabalho junto as Salas de Recursos Multifuncionais, através do processo de implantação da Política de Educação Especial na perspectiva da Educação Inclusiva, de 2008, em que as SRM, se tornaram uma forma de Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE). Neste sentido, o estudo primeiramente, apresenta as salas de recursos como parte do AEE nas escolas de ensino regular para, posteriormente, propor análise através do trabalho colaborativo, que é a ponte entre o trabalho do professor do ensino regular e do professor especialista em Educação Especial que atua na SRM para, finalmente, averiguar a teoria de Vygotsky em sua análise sobre o desenvolvimento e a aprendizagem do estudante proposta no ambiente escolar, suas relações sociais e culturais que fortalecem seu desenvolvimento.
Este texto compõe-se em reflexões acerca da inclusão escolar e a Educação Inclusiva, buscando manifestar o entendimento que cada uma apresenta, sem dissociá-las uma da outra. Argumenta-se aqui acerca da inclusão social, que busca atender a todos os sujeitos por meio de leis e debates públicos, para uma sociedade justa a todos e, assim, também ocorre a inclusão escolar que é o atendimento de todos os alunos na escola, sem distinção dos sujeitos por qualquer característica, física e/ou intelectual, cultural, religiosa ou étnica. Destaca-se ainda a questão da formação docente inicial, relacionando a inclusão escolar e a Educação Inclusiva para atuar no contexto do ensino regular da Educação Básica. A representatividade da escola inclusiva é de ampliar as condições de acesso, permanência e aprendizado dos estudantes, independentemente de sua condição ou singularidade específica, mantendo o foco na aprendizagem, no planejamento, nos métodos e didáticas que possam fomentar o trabalho colaborativo no espaço escolar. Considerando que o aluno público-alvo da Educação Especial, não é somente do professor de apoio ou de Sala de recursos Multifuncionais, mas, de toda escola, portanto igualdade e equidade são pressupostas básicos de direito que diariamente devem ser revistos nas práticas pedagógicas.
