Introdução: No Brasil, existe dificuldades de acesso aos serviços de saúde bucal pelas pessoas com deficiência visual. Além de sofrer com a escassez de equidade, enfrentam barreiras de acessibilidade relacionadas a locomoção, infraestrutura física e comunicação em busca de um atendimento odontológico satisfatório. Objetivo: Este estudo revisou a literatura brasileira dos últimos 10 anos, em busca de artigos que apontem as barreiras de acesso ao serviço odontológico, enfrentadas pelos cegos. Metodologia: O método usado foi a revisão integrativa da literatura, com análise quantitativa, exploratória e descritiva dos dados. O modelo de busca aplicado foi “acesso aos serviços de saúde” e “deficiência visual” e “saúde bucal” com consultas feitas em maio de 2021, nas bases de dados Google Acadêmico, Literatura latino-americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), da Biblioteca Eletrônica Científica Online (SciELO). Resultados: Vinte e dois (22) registros foram encontrados. Quatorze (14) foram excluídos e oito (8) seguiram para análise descritiva. Nesta etapa, sete (7) artigos foram excluídos, cinco (5) por não tratarem de deficientes visuais e dois (2) de saúde bucal. Na síntese qualitativa um (1) artigo foi analisado. A revisão evidenciou a escassez de artigos científicos publicados na literatura brasileira sobre o tema abordado. Conclusões: O acesso dos deficientes visuais é limitado pelas barreiras urbanísticas, arquitetônicas e atitudinais e sentem-se acolhidos e aceitos nos estabelecimentos odontológicos, mas pela necessidade de rotina preferem o serviço privado, com o mesmo profissional; ao invés do público, com oferta de vagas pelos plantões.
