FOR A CATROGRAPHYC KLINIC: THE EXPERIENCE OF MATERNITY FOR FREEDOM DEPRIVED WOMEN ABSTRACTThis research aims to raise debates related to the theme of female incarceration and coordination with the issue of motherhood. Although it is stated by the Law of Penal Execution (LEP) that prisons for women have nursery and daycare so children can remain with the mother, it is understood that it does not happen in Brazilian reality. Thus, motherhood becomes restrict and invisible within the prison walls and the role of prisoner becomes an identity mark that formats how these women are and see. In view of such movements, this writing raises reflections on the role of motherhood for female prisoners, through a mapping exercise of the speeches that constitute the understanding of motherhood for women in such context. To do so, as a field of analysis, it was decided to look at various objects: papers, newspaper clippings, historical analysis, among others. From these materials it was possible to observe the existence of certain markers that have been shaping a set of ideas about 'being a mother' to women in situations of liberty deprivation.
