Objetivou-se identificar e compreender os motivos que levam os indivíduos a buscarem a prática da corrida de rua. Trata-se de uma investigação descritiva de campo com abordagem qualitativa, no qual aprofunda-se no mundo dos significados das ações e relações humanas. O público do estudo foi composto por 09 sujeitos. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um questionário sociodemográfico e uma entrevista semiestruturada realizada com o auxílio de um gravador de voz. Os dados coletados com o uso do questionário foram tabulados com auxílio do Microsoft Excel versão 2010, já as entrevistas foram transcritas com o suporte do Software Launch Express Scribe Transcription. Recorreu-se à técnica de análise de conteúdo temática por frequência de Bardin, o que possibilitou a criação das categorias analíticas principais, secundárias e subcategorias a partir dos discursos proferidos pelos sujeitos. Para apresentação dos resultados recorreu-se à elaboração de diagrama, utilizando o software GoDiagram Win 5.2. Esta pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de ética da Universidade de Pernambuco, sob o CAAE - 61687416.2.0000.5207. Os motivos para a prática da corrida de rua foram classificados em: motivações intrínsecas e motivações extrínsecas, e com isso foram criadas as subcategorias oriundo das falas dos sujeitos: “influência de familiares/amigos” como extrínseco e “saúde”, “desafio”, “atividade física” como intrínsecas, sendo a de maior frequência advinda dos relatos a “influência de familiares/amigos”. Diante do exposto, a categoria “influência de familiares/amigos” foi mais presente para adesão dos indivíduos à prática da corrida de rua, o que revela a importância que esta atividade física possui socialmente, pois muitas vezes as pessoas são atraídas pelo sentimento de aceitação, o fazer parte de um grupo ou simplesmente estar correndo com alguém ao lado, estando clara essa mensagem nos relatos.
Background: Physical activity enhances quality of life and body image in obese. Behavioural changes are useful tools to increase life conditions of this population. Aim: To evaluate the physical activity level of candidates to bariatric surgery and its relation with quality of life and body image, when patients are encouraged weekly by personal trainers. ) Method: This is a prospective, interventional and longitudinal study with quantitative analysis. Patients were divided into two groups, control (n=28) and interventional (n= 10). Both groups received physical activity and nutritional recommendations and psychological support. Were used the SF36 and Body Shape questionnaires to assess physical activity level and body image and pedometers to count weekly steps. Patients were followed during 12 weeks. ) Results: Were found significant difference in the domains physical activity (p=0.019), pain (p=0.0001) and health general status (p=0.021). No significant difference in body weight (p=0.095) was noted. Conclusion:When assisted by personal trainers, obese patients can change behavior, increase health quality and physical activity levels and experience less pain. Increase in physical activity, when well structured can benefit these patients.
O objetivo do presente estudo foi analisar a influência dos motivos para prática da corrida de rua na satisfação com a vida de corredores amadores. O estudo se caracteriza como de abordagem quantitativa. O procedimento de coleta adotado foi o E-survey, onde os indivíduos foram convidados através das redes sociais a responder um formulário online disponível na plataforma Google Drive. A amostra foi composta por 158 corredores. O instrumento utilizado foi um questionário composto pelas variáveis: (i) motivos; (ii) satisfação com a vida; (iii) perfil da prática da corrida de rua e (iv) caracterização dos dados demográficos. Os dados foram analisados no software SPSS Statistics 24. A análise do valor preditivo das variáveis independes resultou num modelo estatisticamente significativo [F (3, 154) = 13,06; < 0,001; R² = 0,20]. Especificamente, o fator social exerceu a influência mais forte (β = 0.325), seguida pelo divertimento (β = 0.198). Portanto, conclui-se que os motivos da prática da corrida de rua são fatores significativos para a satisfação com a vida.
O objetivo do presente estudo foi descrever as emoções e os sentimentos de maratonistas nos períodos antes, durante e após uma prova de maratona. Se trata de uma pesquisa qualitativa descritiva de campo, na qual foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas e aplicação de questionário sociodemográfico com 35 sujeitos. Os questionários foram tabulados pelo programa Microsoft Excel versão 2010, e as entrevistas tratadas por Análise de Conteúdo temática por frequência. Foram elaborados diagramas para apresentar as categorias principais, as categorias secundárias e subcategorias. Esta pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética, sob o CAEE - 61687416.2.0000.5207. Foram apresentados em categorias primárias, secundárias e subcategorias. No diagrama 1, para o período pré-prova, a positiva foi “sensações boas” , e a negativa “ansiedade”. No diagrama 2, período durante a prova, a positiva foi: “sensações boas”, e a negativa: “cansaço/dor”. No diagrama 3, período pósprova, a positiva foi: “realização”, e a negativa: “cansaço/dor”. As emoções e os sentimentos positivos foram vastamente superiores aos negativos durante todas as fases da maratona.
