ResumoObjetivou-se nesse artigo realizar uma análise conjuntural dos segmentos de avicultura de corte e postura do Brasil, em relação ao desempenho nos mercados internacional e nacional a partir do ano de 2010. Os procedimentos metodológicos adotados são de natureza qualitativa, por meio da utilização das técnicas de revisões bibliográficas e documental. Na produção de carne de frango, o Brasil destaca-se como um dos principais produtores mundiais e é o maior exportador. No mercado interno, a produção concentra-se principalmente nas regiões Sul e Sudeste e, com destaque, o crescimento no Centro-Oeste em virtude da capacidade de produção de soja e milho, principais matérias-primas na alimentação das aves. Na avicultura de postura, o Brasil foi o quinto maior produtor mundial em 2017, com a maior parte da produção destinada para o mercado doméstico. A produção de ovos de galinha concentra-se principalmente nas regiões Sudeste e Sul e, tem-se expandido nos estados de Tocantins, Acre, Rondônia e Espírito Santo.Palavras-chave: Análise regional; Carne de frango; Ovos; Produção. The present study aimed to evaluate carcass, cut yields and gastrointestinal tract biometry, the meat quality and body lesions of broiler chicken fed with four levels of corn distillers dried grain with soluble in experimental diets. A total of 700 day-old mixed flock Cobb 500 broiler chicks were distributed in a completely randomized design with five treatments, seven replicates by treatment with 20 birds each. The experimental diets were controlled with crescent inclusion levels of DDGS (4, 8, 12 and 16 %). At 35 days of age 2 broilers from each lot was selected, weighted and identified with medium weight from the experimental unit for slaughtering and evaluation of cuts yield, carcass and gastrointestinal biometry. To evaluate hock lesions and broiler meat quality. Quadratic effect was observed in reference to the weight of the carcass and chest can be included the levels up to 11.29 percent and 6.16 percent respectively. For the other variables of income of casting, edible organs and not edible and there was no significant effect on gastrointestinal biometrics, only for the total size of the gastrointestinal tract there was quadratic effect being the level of 4.25% indicated for increased size of the organs. For all welfare and meat quality variables evaluated, there was no difference between the DDGS levels used in broiler diets and control diet. These findings means that the addition of up to 16 % DDGS in diets can be an alternative to feed chicken without inducing body lesions neither altering broiler meat quality.
The objective of this article was to carry out a historical contextualization and a contemporary evaluation of cotton production in the state of Mato Grosso. In order to reach the proposed objective, bibliographic and documentary revision techniques were used. It was found that the state of Mato Grosso stands out as the main national producer of cotton in feather, which is an important raw material for the textile industry. However, when assessing the participation of Mato Grosso in the textile production at national level, it is irrelevant, accounting for only 0.64% of the number of industrial establishments in the country in 2017. Thus, it opens space for the discussion and proposition of new studies on the performance of the agroindustrial complex of Mato Grosso cotton, as for example, in the verification of which types of factors make difficult in the consolidation of the textile industry at the analyzed locality.
The objective of this study was to analyze and determine the economic loss from the main causes of whole bovine carcass condemnation in slaughterhouses that are inspected by the Federal Inspection Service in the state of São Paulo for the period from 2010 to 2019. Economic loss was calculated from multiplication of the number of whole carcasses condemned by the mean yield of meat per carcass and the mean annual price of beef. The monetary values were updated to the year 2019, using the IGP-DI [General Price Index]. The results indicated an economic loss of R$ 4.06 billion from the whole condemnation of bovine carcasses and the main causes were contamination (R$ 1.73 billion), abscess (R$ 283.20 million), urinary cyst (R$ 194.14 million), emphysema (R$ 107.00 million) and nephritis (R$ 107.52 million). The main factors associated with the whole condemnation of bovine carcasses are failures in the pre-slaughter management and in the slaughter stages, as well as nutritional disorders. Consequently, to minimize such losses in beef production in São Paulo state it is recommended to adopt good production practices and train slaughterhouse employees.
