This research was based on the understanding that special education programs are aimed to form learners with physical and or mental disorders to be able to develop attitudes, knowledge and skills as individuals and members of the community in mutual relationships with the surrounding social, cultural and natural environment and to develop skills in the world of occupation or to follow further education. Characteristics of students with special needs also require handling that considers about their potential and needs so that could be improved optimally. This research aimed to evaluate attitudes, knowledge and skills competencies of student in special education programs. The research was conducted by using evaluative qualitative approach with CIPP models of evaluation. The results indicated that mastery of attitude competency in special education programs is quite good, as well as in mastery of knowledge competency. But still need improvement in mastering the skills competency.
Learning model is a series of meetings in the teaching and learning process that occurs between lecturers and students in college. Along with the development of information technology through mobile learning, the learning process also experiences a positive impact, namely by utilizing smartphone devices. The purpose of this study is: accelerate transformation and facilitate communication learning between lecturers and students. The method used in this study is ADDIE method. The results expected with the support of smartphone devices can improve the quality of students. So that lecturers and students can interact in the teaching and learning process without being constrained by space and time. The optimism of the successful implementation of this Mobile Learning system is very high because the facilities and atmosphere of various parties are very supportive coupled with the need to be a priority requirement for everyone in this case students or students.
This study aimed to know the difference of geometry learning outcome between students studying with problem-based learning model and students studying with scientific learning approach after controlling mathematics initial ability. The design of this study was non-equivalent control group design. Random sampling technique was used to take the research sample which amounted to 18 students. Technique of collecting data was the tests mathematics initial ability and geometry learning outcome. Data was analysed by using analysis of covariate. The results showed that geometry learning outcomes between students studying with problem-based learning model were higher than that studying with scientific learning approach after controlling mathematics initial ability.
This research aims to develop a learning model of Programming Algorithms and the Data I Structure of e-learning assistance. Research and development of this model will produce products in the form of print modules, learning designs and e-learning assisted media for Algorithms and Data I Structure courses. Development of learning models for Programming Algorithms and Structure of Data I for e-learning assistance using the Dick and Carey model design modified with the Trollip and Alessi models. The steps taken in the development of this model are preliminary research, planning and model development, validation, evaluation and revision of the model, and implementation of the model. Validation results from experts consisting of 93% learning design experts, 95% material experts, and 87% of media experts recommend that this development model is used in learning ProgrammingAlgorithms and Structure of Data I. As for the implementation of individual trials are achieved 95% achievement, a small group trials reaching 95%, and a field test achieved 96% success. The conclusion of the expert validation process and the results of trials, that the development of learning models of Programming Algorithms and Structure of Data I for e-learning assistance is feasible to be used in learning.
This study aims to develop products in the form of teaching materials database system subjects with the application of e-learning. The research method used is the Rn D method. The results of the formative one-to-one learner evaluation were carried out between the developer and three individual students. Tech reading in learning materials in information and communication technology courses is very clear and can be read by students well. The quality of the images displayed in the learning material and e-learning is very good and in accordance with the material content of. Clarity of basic competencies to be achieved and indicators of material presentation on learning materials and e-learning programs in the Database Systems course have been very good and easily understood by students.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
