This study aims to determine the influence of ergonomic exercise on reducing blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Center for Sponsorship and Elderly Care. The method used in this research is the quasi-experiment method with one group pre and post-test design. The results of the analysis showed that there were differences in the average systolic blood pressure before and after the ergonomic exercise was 14.00, and the diastolic blood pressure before and after the ergonomic practice was 8.00. Bivariate test results obtained a p-value of 0.00. In conclusion, there is the influence of ergonomic exercise intervention on the reduction of blood pressure in the elderly with hypertension at the Center for Support and Care for the Elderly. The life quality being a noteworthy measurement after the patient undergoes renal replacement therapy such as hemodialysis or renal transplantation. The life quality of associated with chronic kidney disease, but also associated with lifelong therapy. As a result, the life quality of the hemodialysis patient being generally lower than other patients of congestive heart failure, chronic lung disease, or cancer. Health education to any individual patients includes planning, implementing and evaluating the educational programs which are designed explicitly for patient needs. Increased knowledge and education, as well as patient experience, are designed to help any individual patients and the community to improve their health and thus affect their attitudes toward health. Nurses function as both care providers and service providers to patients, especially hemodialysis nurses, play a role in improving the patient life quality whose chronic renal failure, not only in the primary but also a secondary and tertiary failure. Undoubtedly, nurses play a role in providing health education to patients. This research was a pre-experiment with a specific design called one group pretest-posttest, which reveals a causal relationship between the educational intervention and patient life quality, by involving one subject group (Nursalam, 2013). The research location was in hemodialysis specific room in the hospital of dr. M. Yunus Hospital, Bengkulu City. There had been 15 respondents in the research. The statistical tests show that the p-value of 0.002, which conclude that the educational intervention significantly influences patient life quality.
Osteoarthritis merupakan penyakit sendi degeneratif, merupakan gangguan tersering terjadi pada lansia berusia di atas 65 tahun. Salah satu terapi nonfarmakologis yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi nyeri osteoarhtritis adalah teknik relaksasi genggam jari. Nyeri yang dirasakan lansia biasanya sendi-sendi terasa sakit, kaku, dan bengkak. Khususnya sendi pada jari tangan, lutut, pinggul, dan tulang punggung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti penurunan nyeri osteoarthritis dengan teknik relaksasi genggam jari di Desa Wirun Kel. Plesungan Kec. Gondangrejo. Metode penelitian ini Pre Eksperimen, dengan model desain satu kelompok pretest-postest,. Sampel diambil dengan teknik accidental sampling. Responden sebanyak 31 orang yang merupakan masyarakat Desa Wirun. Variabel bebas adalah teknik relaksasi genggam jari, dan variabel dependent adalah penurunan nyeri osteoarthritis. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, serta di analisis dengan univariat (penyajian distribusi frekuensi) dan bivariat (uji Wilcoxon). Hasil uji statistik didapatkan nilai pvalue 0,000 α 0,05 maka kesimpulan pada penelitian ini ada penurunan nyeri osteoarthritis dengan teknik relaksasi genggam jari.
The purpose of this research is to know what happened in RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu, which is domiciled in Bengkulu City. This research is a quantitative research. The type of this research approach is quasi experimental research with One-Group Pre-test and post test design. The sample in this study were 15 patients who underwent outpatient at RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu which is domiciled in Bengkulu City, the sample was taken by purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate the influence of family education on family ability in treating patients with social isolation disorder in RSKJS Bengkulu Province with P = 0,000 (<0,05). Based on the results of this study, can be used as information for families in caring for patients who treat social disorders at the time of the family visited the Hospital. This study aims to determine the differences in the effectiveness of deep breathing therapy and fitness for the elderly to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the elderly at the Fish Market Health Center in Bengkulu City. This study uses quantitative research with experimental methods, using pre-experimental designs with pretest-posttest design. The results showed that there was no difference in effectiveness between deep breathing therapy and fitness for the elderly. Systolic blood pressure after deep breathing therapy and fitness for the elderly, p value = 0.136 and diastolic blood pressure p value = 0.716 (<0.05). Conclusion, there is no difference in the effectiveness of deep breathing therapy and fitness for the elderly to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive patients in the elderly at the Fish Market Health Center in Bengkulu City.
