O artigo analisa experiências com o ensino de Ciências e Biologia para alunos surdos em escolas públicas na cidade de Jequié-BA, considerando a perspectiva de professores e intérpretes de Libras. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva, qualitativa, desenvolvida em três escolas públicas do referido município (E1, E2 e E3) selecionadas por atenderem alunos surdos matriculados. Esses alunos cursaram as disciplinas de Ciências ou Biologia com o acompanhamento do Intérprete Educacional durante as aulas. Participaram da pesquisa três professores de Ciências (PC1, PC2 e PC3), dois professores de Biologia (PB4 e PB5) e cinco Intérpretes Educacionais (IE1, IE2, IE3, IE4 e IE5); todos esses profissionais atuaram juntos durante o período letivo de 2017. Os resultados apontam como principais dificuldades a falta de formação dos professores, dificuldades dos intérpretes com os conteúdos específicos, e a falta de comunicação entre os professores e intérpretes. Como possibilidades para uma melhor educação dos estudantes surdos apontamos o oferecimento de cursos de Libras para os professores no momento das Atividades Complementares, maior interlocução entre o professor da classe e o intérprete, e uso de metodologias e de recursos tecnológicos mais adequados.
O artigo analisa as dificuldades enfrentadas pelos discentes trabalhadores no turno noturno, considerando o curso de Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia, Campus de Jequié/BA. Trata-se uma pesquisa descritiva, qualitativa, desenvolvida com 30 discentes do curso noturno dos 7º e 9º semestres. O instrumento para obtenção de dados foi o questionário e os dados foram analisados por meio da análise de conteúdo, a partir das seguintes categorias estabelecidas após a obtenção das informações junto aos licenciandos: perfil dos participantes; aspectos estruturais e acadêmicos; dificuldades dos estudantes trabalhadores durante a formação acadêmica; e, fatores motivacionais durante a formação acadêmica. Os resultados apontam como principais dificuldades enfrentadas pelos estudantes trabalhadores durante a graduação, a estrutura da universidade, dificuldades no transporte, e ter que trabalhar durante o dia e estudar a noite, provocando cansaço físico e mental proporcionado pela jornada dupla diária. As inquirições justapostas neste trabalho podem auxiliar nas reflexões sobre o ensino superior noturno.
O consumo colaborativo é uma temática que está ganhando espaço nas discussões acadêmicas. No entanto, percebe-se que seu direcionamento ligado ao mercado de redistribuição ainda carece de pesquisas. Deste modo, este artigo objetiva identificar as principais variáveis que estão diretamente relacionadas a Atributos (A), Consequências (C) e Valores (V) deste modelo de consumo colaborativo praticado no grupo de brechó Troca-Troca (bricão entre amigos) Guaíba/RS, disponível através da plataforma de rede social Facebook. Para cumprir com o objetivo proposto foram efetuadas quinze entrevistas durante o segundo semestre do ano de 2016. A metodologia para análise foi o desenvolvimento de entrevistas qualitativas em profundidade utilizando-se da técnica de Laddering (escalonamento) com auxílio da teoria de Meios e Fins, a análise de dados foi pautada em (a) análise de conteúdo e codificação dos dados; (b) elaboração da tabela de ladders; (c) criação da matriz de implicação e posteriormente a criação do mapa hierárquico de valores (Hierarchical Value Map – HVM); e (d) definição das percepções dominantes. Por fim, os resultados identificados através desta análise foi a existência de oito relações A-C-V que representam as percepções dominantes entre os sujeitos deste estudo.
