El trabajo tuvo como propósito estudiar las trayectorias universitarias en tiempos de pandemia, a través del análisis transversal de investigaciones realizadas en el contexto la Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto durante el 2020 y 2021. Desarrollamos una metasíntesis en la que analizamos 12 artículos en los que se abordaron aspectos socio-económicos, político-institucionales, pedagógicos-curriculares y subjetivos que inciden en dichas trayectorias. Los resultados indican que la situación de pandemia introdujo modificaciones a las trayectorias educativas universitarias; profundizó las desigualdades socio-económicas y culturales existentes; reactualizó la necesidad de una reflexión crítica sobre los procesos de virtualización de la educación y la importancia de habitar nuevamente los espacios públicos, de re-pensar los sentidos que asume la universidad pública en el actual escenario. Finalmente señalamos la responsabilidad ineludible del Estado en garantizar el derecho a la educación superior, en tanto bien público, social y colectivo, sobre todo en contextos de crisis y profundización de las desigualdades.
El objetivo del estudio se orienta a analizar las políticas institucionales implementadas en la Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto (UNRC) (Córdoba, Argentina) para la gestión de la enseñanza durante la emergencia socio-sanitaria. El estudio de caso se aborda mediante una metodología cualitativa utilizando como procedimientos de recolección de datos el análisis de documentos institucionales y entrevistas a autoridades académicas. Se privilegia el enfoque teórico de la puesta en acto de las políticas de Stephen Ball. Los datos permiten identificar tres momentos en el proceso o ciclo de construcción y puesta en acto de las políticas académicas de la UNRC orientadas a garantizar la continuidad de la formación de grado de sus estudiantes: 1) la irrupción de la pandemia con la consiguiente alteración de la lógica universitaria; 2) la construcción de políticas y normativas locales para hacer frente al acontecimiento; y 3) planificación de la pospandemia. Mediante el análisis de estas etapas el artículo da cuenta del impacto de la pandemia de COVID-19 en los patrones de decisión y operación de la gestión universitaria en la emergencia socio-sanitaria.
