O artigo discute sobre violência, trauma social e saúde mental em crianças e adolescentes, tomando como foco o terrorismo em Cabo Delgado, região norte de Moçambique e tem como objetivo central, analisar as consequências em função dos efeitos do terrorismo, com vista a prevenção e promoção da saúde mental. A abordagem é qualitativa, assente na revisão bibliográfica de literaturas do tema em estudo. As fontes de investigação são o Google Académico; Libgen; Mendeley Reference Maneger e Scielo. Os cenários de violência, agressões, morte, luto e destruição, vivenciados pelas crianças e adolescentes, decorrentes do terrorismo, podem desencadear problemas psicopatológicos de várias ordens, tais como trauma, depressão, angústia, transtornos de pânico e isso pode influenciar o comportamento deste grupo específico para toda a vida. Uma nota importante é que é necessário observar que traumas graves contínuos podem levar deficiência significativa na regulação de emoções e comportamento e podem ter um impacto sobre como os sobreviventes percebem a si mesmos e sua visão de mundo (Carll, 2007). Outro dado relevante é de que isso significa que a visão e percepção do transtorno pós-traumático precisa ser redefinido em função da cultura e contexto. Pode se concluir que são necessários primeiros socorros psicológicos no sentido de reduzir os efeitos psicopatológicos das crianças e adolescentes. Outrossim, há necessidade de haver intervenções que precisam levar em consideração a cultura e o contexto, porque o que pode ser considerado patológico, pode variar amplamente entre as culturas.
Este artigo traz uma discussão sobre vulnerabilidade, estresse, Covid-19 e estratégias de enfrentamento em casais de famílias desfavorecidas da cidade de Quelimane-Moçambique. A abordagem é qualitativa, assente na revisão bibliográfica de literaturas do tema em estudo. As fontes de investigação são o Google académico; Libgen; Mendeley Reference Maneger e Scielo. Os descritores usados foram vulnerabilidade, estresse, COVID-19 e estratégias de enfrentamento “coping” e priorizou-se as publicações mais recentes possível. A discussão deste artigo toma como foco a influência da COVID-19, em que coloca vários casais vulneráveis a contaminação e assume-se que as famílias desfavorecidas em particular, estejam expostos ao risco de contrair doenças, aspeto que faz com que vivam sempre ansiosos a procura da sustentabilidade para seus filhos por um lado e por outro pensando em si próprios e na saúde. Diante dos vários cenários relativos aos efeitos da COVID-19 em que ocasiona e condiciona o mal-estar em casais e ou famílias da cidade de Quelimane, tendo em conta as particularidades e caraterísticas psicológicas procuram mobilizar diferentes estratégias cognitivas para se adaptar-se ao contexto e conclui-se que estas famílias mesmos atravessando momentos de crises elas assumem os riscos e os desafios levando a vida com maior naturalidade. Um outro dado interessante é que a cultura também influencia os estilos de enfrentamento das pessoas e, portanto, as intervenções devem abordar os pontos fortes, rituais e apoios dentro de uma comunidade. Portanto, as intervenções apropriadas precisam ser adaptadas à cultura e ao contexto em que os eventos traumáticos ocorrem (Carll, 2007).
A resiliência tem sido reconhecida como um processo comum e presente no desenvolvimento de qualquer ser humano (MASTEN, 2001). Contudo, faz-se necessária uma análise ecológica, a fim de investigar a maneira como as pessoas percebem e enfrentam as adversidades decorrentes dos processos proximais, bem como a influência do contexto e do tempo em que estão vivendo (CECCONELLO, 2003). Este artigo procura analisar a resiliência em casais de famílias afetadas por desastres naturais em Moçambique, dentro de um contexto de vulnerabilidade decorrente dos efeitos do desastre natural, IDAI, ocorrido em Março de 2019. A abordagem é qualitativa, assente na revisão bibliográfica de literaturas do tema em estudo. As fontes de investigação são: Google Académico; Libgen; Mendeley Reference Maneger e Scielo. O estudo incide em casais da comunidade de Savane, distrito de Dondo, Província de Sofala, região centro de Moçambique. Assume-se no estudo que as mudanças climáticas são consideradas o maior e mais complexo desafio da contemporaneidade, sendo as mesmas traduzidas em projeções científicas que delineiam cenários de grande impacto para todas as formas de vida na terra (IPCC, 2018). Moçambique é considerado um país propenso aos desastres naturais, devido a sua localização geográfica. Toma-se a abordagem sistémica para explicar a resiliência e coping em casais, a relação que se estabelece entre os elementos da família e o contexto, partindo da explicação dos vários cenários em que os casais atravessam os momentos de desastres naturais e que são levadas para os centros de reassentamento “transição ecológica”, de certa forma não tendo privacidade e são obrigadas a viver em condições precárias. Conclui-se que essa conceituação não faz referência ao impacto da família no indivíduo, mas, encara a família como uma unidade coletiva cujos resultados também são de interesse da mesma.
