Este estudo teve por objetivo investigar e analisar as percepções de alunos dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental sobre o uso de tecnologias digitais nas atividades de sala de aula. Os participantes foram 80 alunos de uma escola municipal de Sapucaia do Sul/RS. Os dados foram coletados por questionário com questões abertas e fechadas, analisadas pela análise de conteúdo e pelos escores das respostas. Os resultados apontaram que os professores utilizam pouco as tecnologias digitais, de forma rara e o recurso mais usual é o PowerPoint. Os alunos apresentaram-se abertos ao uso das tecnologias e gostariam de utilizá-las durante as aulas, preferencialmente por meio de aplicativos e jogos, e acreditam que elas podem facilitar o ensino e a aprendizagem, por proporcionar uma aula mais divertida, facilitar práticas e aumentar seu interesse.
“Diário” porque se referem os diários visuais que foram introduzidos aos alunos nas aulas de Educação Visual no contexto de estágio e no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino das Artes Visuais no 3º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e Ensino Secundário. A ausência do ‘visual’ no título preserva a ambiguidade deste diário ao permitir em simultâneo a presença da tese de mestrado - também esta foi vivida e construída diariamente num exercício de “escrita de si”. Entre o que foi proposto às turmas na escola de estágio e aquilo que se fez na escrita, apenas a diferença de um formalismo institucional. Pela condição num lugar e pela ordem académica do discurso, a escrita isenta-se do uso de outras plasticidades, ao passo que para os alunos essa era uma possibilidade como outra qualquer. De ambos os lados a escrita de si para vermos o eu, o outro, e para construirmos as nossas subjectividades e devires outros a partir das visitadas formas de ver e de fazer.
