So hat Adams w~hrend einer nur zweij~thrigen T~tigkeit in Indien 206 Steinoperationen ausgeffihrt, F r e y e r beriehtet yon 1023, 867 in Indien, 156 in England praktizierten Eingriffen bei Lithiasis, Dsirne yon 292 ]31asensteinoperationen, Krasnobajew yon 117 Lithotripsien allein bei Kindern; und aus Agypten gab Wild (Kairo) auf dent 1. ~tpyptisch-saediz. Kongrel~ seine Erfahrungen bei fiber 200, Z eiful (Dasaanhur) die seinigen bei fiber SO0 Steinkranken. Wieting gibt einige weitere Daten aus tier Literatur, auf die hier verwiesen sei. Niehtsdestoweniger hoffe ieh, dag mein erheblich kleineres Material, das sowohl in iitiologischer; als therapeutischer Hinsieht, soweit saSglieh, yon sair durehgearbeitet ist, einiges Interessante bietet. Besonders kasa es sair zu statten, dait ieh, dank desa liebenswtirdigen Entgegenkosamen der Herren Professoren Htirthle und RShsaann, die chemische Untersuehung der Steine im hiesigen physiologischen Institut ausftihren konnte.
