Esta pesquisa investigou o uso de álcool e outras drogas e as vulnerabilidades relacionadas de estudantes de nove escolas públicas participantes do Programa Saúde do Escolar/Saúde e Prevenção nas Escolas no município de Florianópolis. Participaram 789 alunos entre o sétimo ano do Ensino Fundamental e o terceiro ano do Ensino Médio. O álcool foi utilizado por 30,1% dos participantes, o tabaco por 20,1%, a maconha por 7%, a cocaína por 1,3% e o crack por 0,6%. Os estudantes que utilizam álcool e outras drogas mataram mais aulas, participaram mais de brigas, são sexualmente mais ativos e declararam que se arriscaram mais frente ao HIV/Aids. Observou-se a importância da família tanto como fator de influência nos comportamentos do uso de álcool e outras drogas, como de proteção frente a este uso.
Introduction: School violence it’s a problem that involves a lot of bad consequences for the life’s students. So preventing and research about it are very important.
Objective: The objective of this study was identify the experiences of violence of students from public schools participating in the PSE - School Health Program and SPE - Health and Prevention in the Schools of Florianópolis.
Methods: Participants were 871 students from the 9th grade of elementary school to the 3rd year of high school with a mean age of 15 years and 6 months.
Results: Regarding the experiences of violence, 81.6% stated that they had already witnessed scenes of violence, with 51.1% of these scenes occurring at school. Besides, 28% of the participants reported having already suffered prejudice at school. There was a statistically significant association between violent behavior and being a boy, having a habit of watching movies and playing video games with violent content, killing classes and having a regular to bad relationship with teachers.
Conclusions: Violence is part of student’s daily activities, involving a broad context and it is pretty much related to school.
Algumas reflexões necessárias sobre o fenômeno sexting na busca de prevenção de riscos para adolescentes em suas relações com as mídias
ResumoEste artigo pretende levar o leitor a refletir sobre uma prática cada vez mais comum entre crianças, adolescentes e adultos, denominada sexting e será dividido em três momentos. No primeiro, é realizada uma breve descrição do que representou a Modernidade em termos de transformações na humanidade e o momento atual, além de uma reflexão sobre a questão da individualidade. No segundo, são feitos alguns apontamentos sobre quem é o adolescente de hoje. No outro momento, é apresentada uma contextualização do fenômeno Sexting, por meio de uma breve revisão conceitual sobre ele apontando, inclusive, para a situação de riscos a que podem se expor os adolescentes ao praticá-lo. Para concluir, aponta-se um caminho a ser trilhado para um necessário estudo da compreensão de adolescentes sobre o sexting.

AbstractThis article intend to guide the reader about a practice very common nowadays between children, teenagers and adults, called sexting, written in three moments. At first, it is accomplished a brief description about what represent Modernity times and its changes regarding humanity and the moment lived today, besides a reflection about individuality issues. Second, we make some notes about who is the adolescent nowadays. Third, the article presented a Sexting contextualization by a brief conceptual review about it, pointing out the risks situation that teenagers may be exposed when practicing it. In conclusion, we intend to show a way to follow in order to achieve a necessary study about teenager's comprehension about sexting.
