Este estudo teve como objetivo descrever os aspectos desencadeadores da hanseníase sobre o sofrimento psíquico, destacando as ações de enfrentamento sob a ótica do enfermeiro. Trata-se de uma revisão bibliográfica do tipo descritiva e exploratória, realizada nas bases de dados do portal eletrônico Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), no período de agosto a setembro de 2020. As repercussões do diagnóstico de hanseníase estão diretamente relacionadas ao modo de viver e socializar, uma vez que as representações socioculturais sobre a doença repercutem em estigma e preconceito, desencadeando sofrimento psíquico com alterações de autoestima e autoimagem. Neste contexto, destaca-se as ações descentralizadas do enfermeiro sobre a realização de ações de educação, promoção e prevenção em saúde, estimulando o autocuidado e melhor adesão ao processo saúde-doença. Ressalta-se a necessidade de se discutir ainda mais os cuidados psíquicos ao paciente com diagnóstico de hanseníase e as suas representações socioculturais, uma vez que a práxis paciente-doença vai além do âmbito físico, necessitando fortalecer a promoção da saúde nesta linha de cuidado.

Esta pesquisa buscou identificar a presença de Salmonella spp. e quantificar as alterações na casca e no conteúdo interno de ovos comercializados em Mossoró e Natal, as duas cidades mais populosas do estado do Rio Grande do norte. Para a avaliação de alterações de casca e de conteúdo interno, 360 ovos foram analisados individualmente pelos seguintes parâmetros: peso do ovo; presença de sujidades; presença de trincas na casca; medições na câmara de ar; integridade da gema; presença de alterações no albúmen e/ou presença de sangue. Para a análise microbiológica da casca e conteúdo interno, foi avaliada a presença de Salmonella spp., por métodos convencionais. Verificou-se manchas de sangue em 15% das claras, 33% das gemas e ausência de integridade em 28,3% das gemas. Foram encontradas alterações na integridade das cascas, na qual 10% apresentaram-se quebradas, 40% trincadas e 90% com sujidades. A altura da câmara de ar em 76,6% dos ovos avaliados variou em mais de 6 mm e 13,33% dos ovos estavam em desacordo com a legislação quanto a tipificação. A bactéria Salmonella spp. foi isolada em 4,17% das amostras, sendo 2,5% na casca e 1,67% na gema. Evidenciou-se a má qualidade interna e externa em um número considerável de ovos comercializados nos municípios de Mossoró e Natal – RN, ressaltando a necessidade de fiscalização mais efetiva pelos órgãos federais, estaduais e municipais envolvidos com a vigilância e fiscalização deste produto. Além disso, é necessário estabelecer medidas mais rígidas que assegurem a saúde do consumidor.
One Health é um conceito em ascensão que surgiu a fim de esclarecer e passar de forma transparente a coligação entre a saúde humana, a saúde animal e o ecossistema onde estão inseridos, tendo como foco a promoção da saúde coletiva em sua face cosmopolita. Este estudo objetivou relatar a experiência de trabalhar a temática de Saúde Única na perspectiva da educação popular em saúde, contribuindo para a construção de conhecimentos acerca da interação entre a saúde humana, animal e ambiental. Trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva com abordagem qualitativa, na forma de relato de experiência, sobre a atuação do Projeto de Extensão “Universidade Promotora da Saúde” da Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido, junto às escolas públicas de comunidades carentes de Mossoró - RN e região, onde abordou-se a temática de Saúde Única na perspectiva da educação popular em saúde. Foram trabalhados 714 estudantes de 14 escolas públicas do semiárido potiguar, através de abordagens lúdicas e participativas, com estratégias pedagógicas direcionadas para a promoção da autonomia dos estudantes. Houve um estreitamento dos laços entre as partes envolvidas no projeto, com engajamento e significativa satisfação dos mesmos. A relação estabelecida entre a equipe e os estudantes facilitou o diálogo entre as partes, possibilitando a formação de sujeitos com conhecimento e consciência cidadã no aspecto da saúde única. Por fim, a busca por novos modelos de se trabalhar a saúde em comunidades carentes deve ser uma iniciativa constante, com o intuito de realizar atividades coletivas inovadoras e discutir temas relevantes para a população.
Objetivou-se, realizar avaliação de carcaça de cordeiros em sistema de confinamento alimentados com dieta 100% concentrado e dieta com inclusão de óleo residual, de modo a identificar qual dieta proporciona melhor desempenho. Foram utilizados 15 ovinos machos, não castrados, mestiços de Dorper × Santa Inês, com seis meses, confinado em baias coletivas por 50 dias. Os tratamentos foram os seguintes: Dieta Controle (CT) - Feno de Tifton + concentrado; Dieta de alto grão (AG) - Dieta 100% concentrado comercial para ovinos; Dieta com óleo residual de fritura (ORF) - Feno de tifton + concentrado + óleo residual de fritura. Semanalmente durante o período de confinamento foram coletadas as medidas morfométricas: altura de cernelha, altura de garupa, perímetro torácico e comprimento corporal para avaliação de carcaça. Não houve diferença estatística para consumo de matéria seca, ganho de peso, altura de garupa, altura de cernelha, comprimento do corpo, perímetro torácico, rendimento de carcaça, peso de carcaça, perímetro de patela de carcaça, comprimento de pernil da carcaça e perímetro de pernil da carcaça (P>0,05) entre a dieta controle e com inclusão de 6% de óleo residual. Apesar de não diferir estatisticamente da dieta controle, a inclusão de óleo residual promoveu superioridade de consumo de matéria seca, ganho de peso total, peso de carcaça quente e fria e perímetro torácico de carcaça quente em relação aos animais alimentados com dieta de alto grão. A dieta com inclusão de 6% de óleo residual proporcionou melhores resultados produtivos e desempenho aos cordeiros.
