RESUMOO estresse é um estado causado por estímulos que provocam excitação física e emocional, que ao perturbarem o equilíbrio do organismo podem gerar dores musculares na região cervical e dos ombros. A rotina acadêmica em geral é muito estressante principalmente por conta das atividades exigidas no decorrer do período letivo como provas, trabalhos, projetos, seminários, etc. Este estudo investigou as dores relacionadas ao estresse emocional e muscular na região cervical e dos ombros em estudantes dos cursos de saúde da Universidade de Brasília da Faculdade de Ceilândia. Trata-se de um estudo observacional e longitudinal, onde participaram 75 estudantes com idades entre 18 e 25 anos, no qual foram acompanhados e avaliados no início e no final do período letivo, onde supostamente os níveis de estresse estarão mais elevados. Foram utilizados os questionários semi-estruturados, o Inventário de Sintomas de Stress para Adultos de Lipp -ISSL para avaliação dos sintomas de estresse e o Diagrama de Dor Corlett e Manenica para avaliar as dores na região cervical e dos ombros. A análise estatística foi realizada através do Wilcoxon Test para comparar as variáveis de estresse na fase inicial e final do semestre. Os resultados mostraram diferenças significativas entre a amostra no início e no final do período letivo (p < 0.05) e que os estudantes em sua maioria apresentam sintomas de estresse prolongado com risco de desenvolvimento a graves problemas em sua saúde, além de frequentes dores na região cervical. O estresse excessivo causado pela intensa rotina acadêmica pode ser um fator decisivo no surgimento de dores na região cervical, comprometendo as condições de saúde física e mental dos futuros profissionais da área da saúde. Há a necessidade de propor novas alternativas no sentido de prevenção e diminuir o nível de estresse dos estudantes na sua rotina acadêmica, melhorando a sua qualidade de vida e modificando o ambiente da universidade mais saudável.
O presente estudo tem como objetivo responder a seguinte argumentação: qual a relação do bailarino com a dor, e até quando a dor pode ser uma aliada ou um grande impulsionamento para a recorrência de lesões e traumas em bailarinos clássicos? A pesquisa é de cunho descritivo, descrevendo a experiência e as características da realidade de bailarinos em relação à dor, com uma abordagem quali-quantitativa, primária pois ao final deste estudo foi realizado uma amostra de dados e conclusões sobre o assunto, e é também transversal. A pesquisa foi realizada via Google forms, realizada com bailarinas e bailarinos com idade entre 18-40 anos que praticam o ballet em um período de tempo ≥ 5 anos. Majoritariamente 53,6% consideram o Ballet sua profissão, 39,3% dos participantes praticam a modalidade por cerca de 10 horas semanais. Os mesmos relatam que a vida de um praticante de Ballet é intensa, com demasiadas cobranças mas imensamente satisfatória. O impacto do Ballet em suas vidas, foi percebido tanto de forma positiva quanto de forma negativa. Diante do exposto, foi possível compreender como os bailarinos lidam com a dor, através de modulações neurais dos sistemas opióides e dopaminérgicos. Além disso, foi possível observar que o estresse emocional está associado a lesões adquiridas dentro da prática do Ballet clássico. Verificou-se um papel significativo da fisioterapia na prevenção e tratamento de lesão e traumas em bailarinos clássicos.
Introdução: Segundo dados da Organização Mundial de Saúde (OMS), o AVE é a segunda causa de morte no mundo, e em países desenvolvidos como os Estados Unidos, está atrás apenas das doenças cardíacas isquêmicas no ranking da OMS. Sendo também a maior causa de incapacidade. Pode ocorrer em qualquer faixa etária por diversas causas. AVE é a primeira causa de morte no Brasil de acordo com a OMS. No Brasil, a cada mil pessoas, cerca de onze são vítimas de AVE. Sendo que, entre os sobreviventes, aproximadamente 44% apresentam alguma dependência funcional. Em Países subdesenvolvidos como o Brasil a incidência de DCNTs vem aumentando mais rápido que em países desenvolvidos. Objetivo: Avaliar os benefícios da crioterapia na redução da espasticidade em pacientes com sequelas de Acidente Vascular Encefálico. Métodos: Estudo de Revisão Sistemática de Literatura (RSL) do tipo avaliativo baseado no Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) desenvolvido para avaliar os benefícios da crioterapia na redução da espasticidade em pacientes com sequelas de Acidente Vascular Encefálico (AVE). Foi realizada uma busca eletrônica nas bases de dados, tal como Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDRo), Public/Publisher MEDLINE (PubMed), Biblioteca Virtual em Saude (BVS) e Scientific Eletronic Library (SciELO). Encontrados através dos seguintes descritores “crioterapia” “espasticidade” e “AVE”, em português e inglês, com o restritivo de ter tido publicação nos últimos 10 anos. Resultados: Na busca nos bancos de dados foram encontrados (71) artigos e na busca manual (0), havendo remoção de duplicatas (29) artigos, foram avaliados com critérios de elegibilidade (7) artigos, dos quais (28) foram excluídos de acordo com os critérios de inclusão e exclusão. Conclusão: Com base nos estudos encontrados, pode se afirmar que o uso da crioterapia é efetivo na redução da espasticidade em pacientes com sequelas de acidente vascular encefálico.
