Existe uma infinidade de aplicativos disponíveis gratuitamente que abordam os assuntos da nutrição, tendo como público-alvo praticantes de atividade física em seus diversos segmentos. Diante desta crescente popularidade, torna-se necessário analisar se tais aplicativos apresentam impacto na relação do nutricionista com o paciente e se essa relação possui respaldo na legislação. Sendo assim, a contribuição deste estudo apresenta resultados desafiadores para a classe profissional, considerando ainda que os aplicativos estão presentes no cotidiano das pessoas e estas recorrem cada vez mais à sua utilização.
