Este estudo objetivou realizar uma cartilha educativa sobre a prevenção do Câncer de Colo de Útero em idosas. Metodologia: trata-se de uma pesquisa do tipo metodológica, na qual consiste o desenvolvimento de instrumentos e estratégias que possibilitam a construção de um material educativo que seja confiável, preciso e utilizável. Para isso foi realizada uma revisão integrativa da literatura, onde houve um levantamento bibliográfico, sendo coletados dados nos meses de março a abril de 2017 na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), respeitando os critérios de inclusão e exclusão, resultando numa amostra final de 04 artigos que compuseram a pesquisa. Resultado: Para uma melhor compreensão do conteúdo da cartilha foi optado por um diálogo entre enfermeira e uma mulher idosa, onde é orientado a idosa sobre atitudes necessárias para um auto cuidado satisfatório. A cartilha foi dividida em: introdução; desenvolvimento; conclusão. Conclusão: O intuito da realização desta pesquisa é contribuir para orientar cada vez mais o publico alvo e resultar em ações que desenvolvam cada vez mais o âmbito da prática de enfermagem.
