Este Dossiê é orientado pelo princípio do direito à expressão das diferentes culturas e, de modo, especial, à produção social e histórica da arte em sua diversidade. O documento propicia ainda a reflexão sobre os conceitos de criação e fruição, rompendo estereótipos há muito cristalizados.O discernimento do que é plural requer um olhar não condicionado pelas vertentes universalistas -isto porque o universal tende a classificar e padronizar ações e indivíduos. Invariavelmente, as visões hegemônicas expressam a intenção do exercício dominação de determinados grupos sobre outros. Percebe-se que na criação e fruição artística, o olhar voltado à diversidade considera que são múltiplos os contextos onde a arte é gerada, assim como são inúmeros os espaços nos quais seus fruidores agem. O dossiê é composto por 11 artigos norteados por práticas artísticas realizadas em projetos coletivos com ênfase territorial e/ou proposições artístico-pedagógicas realizadas no espaço acadêmico.
Karolina Cordeiro é geógrafa de formação, doula por missão e escritora por paixão. Mãe da Ana Júlia, do Pedro e da Giovana. Fundadora do Projeto Angel Hair (cultura, arte, educação e inclusão), que leva apresentações itinerantes em escolas públicas de dança inclusiva e palestras em várias cidades do Brasil. O Projeto nasceu depois que seu filho Pedro desenvolveu uma síndrome rara chamada Aicardi Goutieres. Ativista pelos direitos humanos. Facilitadora em desenvolvimento humano no Movimente Ateliê. Palestrante e colunista da revista Cult, articulista da Revista Reação (revista nacional de reabilitação) e colunista da revista Triângulo Esporte. Membro da Comissão em Defesa da Pessoa com Deficiência da OAB Minas, Diretora de Operações da AGS Síndromes da América do Sul. Corredora da Angel Hair Team. Cofundadora do Projeto Muda do Afeto (cartilha e livros sobre a pessoa com deficiência).
