StreszczenieWprowadzenie. Cel pracy. Celem badania była oceny satysfakcji z życia pielęgniarek/pielęgniarzy zatrudnionych w Gdań-skim Uniwersytecie Medycznym i ratowników/ratowniczek medycznych zatrudnionych w szpitalach województwa pomorskiego. Materiał i metody.Badaniem objęto 725 osób, w tym 419 pielęgniarek i 306 ratowników medycznych. Każdy z uczestników został poproszony o wypełnienie formularza Skali Satysfakcji z Życia oraz Kwestionariusza Osobowości Eysencka.Wyniki. A. In recent years, the the lack of appreciation for the value of professional nurses and paramedics has been an increasing problem. As indicated by the studies of work psychology, factors influencing employee efficiency are, among others, good working conditions and equitable remuneration. Unfortunately, in Polish healthcare sector, human resources management still needs to be improved. Due to the professional burnout, Polish medical staff members often decide to change their profession, or emigrate to seek a place where their knowledge and commitment can bring them not only emotional satisfaction, but financial benefit...
