A tuberculose é causada pela bactéria Mycobacterium tuberculosis e possui altas taxas de prevalência no Brasil e subnotificação. Esta revisão de literatura teve o objetivo de analisar e discutir sobre a prevalência da tuberculose no Pará. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, orientada pelos descritores “tuberculose”, “prevalência”, “epidemiologia” e “Pará” verificados nos Descritores em Ciência da Saúde (DECS) de acordo com cada base de dados. Foram utilizadas as buscas bibliográficas nas bases de dados Scientific Electronic Library (Scielo) e Literatura Latino-americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS). Foram incluídos artigos com temática sobre a prevalência de tuberculose no estado do Pará, publicados entre 2009 a 2020, e foram excluídos artigos incompatíveis com o tema. Como resultado foi obtido um quantitativo de dez estudos. Após a análise destes trabalhos, foram encontrados estudos, principalmente no Scielo com dados da prevalência em Ananindeua, Belém, Benevides e Santarém, com casos em homens adultos, ensino fundamental e de zona urbana. O coeficiente de prevalência em Ananindeua foi de 58,93/100.000 habitantes. Belém possui taxa de prevalência de tuberculose de 50,7%, valor superior ao preconizado pelo Ministério da Saúde de 30%. Benevides apresentou o coeficiente de prevalência de 105/100.000 habitantes por ano. Já em Santarém verificou-se alta taxa de coinfecção de tuberculose e HIV. O presente estudo reafirma a alta magnitude da tuberculose no Pará. Os resultados mostram que a tuberculose continua sendo um problema de saúde pública. Torna-se necessário elaborar e implementar políticas públicas para controle das altas taxas de tuberculose nessas cidades, bem como intensificar os estudos em outras regiões do estado como o sudeste do Pará, para que possibilite de fato uma verificação real do número de casos dessa doença no estado.
