El presente estudio mediante análisis estadístico buscó la correlación entre la discrepancia transversal mandibular y la inclinación de los primeros molares inferiores permanentes en tomografías de cráneo completo de adultos de una población andina en el año 2021. Se observó que el promedio de distancia transversal mandibular obtenido fue de 52.34mm, en cuanto a la angulación de los primeros molares permanentes inferiores para el lado derecho el valor promedio fue de 102.78°, en comparación, con el izquierdo el valor promedio de angulación obtenido fue de 102.57°. El coeficiente de correlación entre la distancia transversal mandibular y angulación molar inferior fue de 0.15 y R2= 0.022. Finalmente es posible concluir que en el coeficiente de correlación y R de Pearson permiten establecer una correlación positiva muy baja entre la distancia transversal de la mandíbula y la inclinación de los primeros molares inferiores permanentes.
