Key words:Construction of the enemy, speech, terrorists, cannibals, identifications.Terrorists and Cannibals: two historical constructions off the identification of the enemy Abstract: This text study the ways in which two perspectives of the world -that of Christopher Columbus and that of George Bush-built and identified their enemies to offer them as legitimate objectives of the war. In both cases, the visibility of these enemies depended on a specific political and social process, but in a particular way on a discursive process. The characteristics that were assigned to them to show their homogeneity and coherence, can only be explained by the work of those who, with the social power to "materialize" the discourse, sought to mold and highlight them to combat them.
