Purpose
In line with the general purpose mentioned, this paper aims to determine the impact of the Islamic work ethic (IWE) on job satisfaction and organizational commitment among the employees of Bank Maskan by examining the mediating role of intrinsic motivation.
Design/methodology/approach
Analysis of data obtained from 220 questionnaires related to research variables with AMOS software shows a positive and significant relationship between IWE and job satisfaction and organizational commitment with the mediating role of intrinsic motivation.
Findings
The findings revealed a direct effect of IWE on job satisfaction, but there was no direct significant relationship between this variable and organizational commitment. Also, intrinsic motivation plays a partial and completely mediatory role in the relationship between IWE and job satisfaction and between IWE and organizational commitment.

Originality/value
As the nature of bank employees’ work is such that it confronts them with numerous ethical choices, the adherence to ethical standards, particularly IWE, can greatly affect their enthusiasm and, as a result, their satisfaction and organizational commitment.
Aim
The aim of this study is to explore and describe the recovery experiences of nurses working in COVID‐19 wards.
Background
The global outbreak of coronavirus in 2020 has extracted job stress for nurses. Job stress has impacts on physical and mental health and performance, so recovery is essential to restore the lost energy resources.
Method
Semi‐structured interviews were conducted with 12 nurses in Isfahan city of Iran.
Results
The research results were extracted as 5 main themes, 14 subthemes and 54 items. The main themes are detachment from work, relaxation, non‐work activities, affiliation and meaning. The combination of these themes led to the clear statement that using recovery experiences is a major step toward relieving the nurses' COVID‐19‐related stress and their physical and mental resuscitation.
Conclusion
The use of recovery experiences, including detachment from work, relaxation, non‐work activities, affiliation and meaning by nurses, helps them cope with job stressors and regain their resources.
Implications for Nursing Management
It is the responsibility of health system policy makers, hospital managers and nurse managers to design and implement training programmes for nurses to use recovery experiences as stress management techniques in their profession.

The focus on organizational health means “to focus on the future success of the organization”. Therefore, the main purpose of the present research is to study the effect of organizational health and organizational justice on organizational citizenship behavior with the mediating role of organizational commitment in two private and public sectors. Methodology: The statistics population of the study includes the employees of Melli Bank and Saderat Bank of Iran (Shushtar Branches) and the study sample includes 63 individuals from the private sector and 50 individuals from the public sector that have been selected through random stratified sampling method via Morgan and Jersey’s table. The data has been gathered through field method and questionnaire. The structural equation modeling method and partial least square method via PLS statistic software has been utilized for analyzing the gathered data. Results: The results of fitness indexes of conceptual model show that the research model is fitted properly. Conclusion: The analyzes have shown that the organizational commitment variable has the mediating role in the relationship between organizational health and organizational justice with organizational citizenship behavior in both statistics population; the organizational justice act as the mediating role only in the Saderat Bank branches(private sector) in the relationship of organizational health and organizational citizenship behavior.
