Rhizobacteria isolated from the rhizoplane of grasses growing at the Nylsvlei Nature Reserve in South Africa were investigated for growth promotion and root colonization in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) under greenhouse and microplot field conditions.
