Background: Many pregnant women in Indonesia, particularly in remote areas, do not regularly visit health clinics and so complications are not detected and dealt with early enough. The maternal mortality rate was still high in Indonesia in 2017 at an estimated 177 deaths per 100,00 live births. The high maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is related to the number of pregnant women who experience high-risk pregnancies. This study aimed to describe the high-risk pregnancy and obstetric complication during the COVID-19 pandemic in Semarang, Central Java. Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional study conducted at Semarang City Health Office, Central Java, from 2019 to September 2021. Data on a sample of pregnant women were taken from Semarang City Health Office for this study. The dependent variables were high-risk pregnancy and obstetric complication. The data were described in percent. Results: In 2020, the number of pregnant women in Semarang was 25,981. The incidence of high-risk pregnancy was 9,207 (9,207/25,981= 35.4%) in 2020. The incidence of pregnant women with obstetric complication was 1,741 (1,741/ 25,981= 6.7%) in 2020. Conclusion:The incidences of high-risk pregnancy and obstetric complication are still high in Semarang, Central Java in 2020.
SI-GEMBUL (Integrated Information System for Nutritional Status of Superior Toddlers) is an application made to collect data and handle stunting cases at Puskesmas Halmahera. Along with the increase in cases of stunting, efforts need to be made to accelerate stunting prevention in toddlers. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between performance expectations, business expectations, hedonistic motivation, and price value with the intention of using the SI-GEMBUL application at Puskesmas Halmahera. The type of research used in this study was quantitative research with a cross-sectional approach. The method used was the UTAUT2 method. The samples in this study were all health cadres in RW 12 and RW 14 of Rejosari Village, who were selected by purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there was a relationship between the factors of performance expectations, business expectations, hedonistic motivation, and price value to the intention to use the SI-GEMBUL application, with a significance value (sig) of 0.014 for the performance expectation variable, a significance value (sig) of 0.003 for the business expectation variable, a significance value (sig) of 0.001 for the hedonistic motivation variable, and a significance value (sig) of 0.014 for the price value variable. The advice that can be given is that health cadres can help each other using the SI-GEMBUL application and puskesmas can monitor the health cadres regarding the use of the SI-GEMBUL application so puskesmas can take advantage of the SI-GEMBUL application in the future.
Aim: This paper aims to design a decision support system in Maternal and Child Health services or MCH that can monitor cases of pregnant women and prevent maternal deaths because maternal deaths are still found in Semarang. Indonesia. Method = Research and Development with system development using the System Development Life Cycle method, which includes studying user needs, analyzing the system used, determining the form of the system being developed, and designing the Maternal Decision Support System. The sample of this research is in the form of MCH service data in 2019 - 2021. Meanwhile, respondent data collection is carried out by interviewing MCH Program Holders and observing the system used, analyzing MCH data, and designing a region-based Decision Support System using PHP programming and MySQL database. Result: The development of an MCH decision support system application that can support the area-based MCH program is https://spk-maternal.com/. It is easy to use by officers at the community health centers and the Health Office to monitor pregnancy history to reduce maternal mortality. Conclusion = Results of our study indicate that a district-based decision support system is easy to use to reduce maternal mortality. The study's findings indicate a need for tremendous support from the government to make policies based on a decision support system for appropriate maternal and child health services.
