A obra "Ciência e Inovação: um olhar interdisciplinar" objetiva dar visibilidade para o debate em torno da Ciência sob ótica interdisciplinar, isto é, como cada área do conhecimento (Ciências Humanas, Ciências da Natureza, Linguagens, Códigos, Matemática e suas Tecnologias) como vem sendo aplicados os resultados de suas pesquisas. Buscou-se discutir os entraves que historicamente assolam a Ciência, bem como os novos problemas que desafiam os pesquisadores/as no cotidiano da pesquisa.Chama-se a atenção para o papel da ciência, tecnologia e inovação, na pretensão tornar a pesquisa e os dados científicos acessíveis a todos, em que se abra oportunidades rigorosas de processos de revisão por pares e combata o negacionismo, no tocante os resultados científicos. Além disso, procurou-se pesquisas que tratem de novas metodologias, Políticas Públicas destinadas à Ciência, a sua função social, história da Ciência, política etc. Foram aceitos trabalhos que versem sobre a Ciência em qualquer área do conhecimento, experiências pedagógicas, relatos de caso, revisão bibliográficas, pesquisas documentais etc. Caro(a) leitor(a), é com grande satisfação que apresentamos "Ciência e Inovação: um olhar interdisciplinar", com o objetivo de oferecer um espaço de discussão para questões pertinentes relacionadas às pesquisas sobre a Ciência sob ótica interdisciplinar, em seus múltiplos aspectos. Esperamos que este debate interdisciplinar contribua para consultas, discussões e o surgimento de outras publicações acerca desta temática tão importante para a educação brasileira.
