The purpose of this research is to investigate the challenges faced by women entrepreneurs on entrepreneurial success in Malaysia. This study proposes a conceptual framework and investigates the significant factors of family and social support, emotional intelligence, gender stereotype, and knowledge and risk-taking behavior in predicting women entrepreneurial success. Data was collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale from 1-5 from a sample of 125 women entrepreneurs who owned Small-Medium-Enterprises (SME) in Malaysia using a convenient sampling technique. Collected data were analysed using structural equation modeling (SEM) via AMOS 22 software. The result indicated that “knowledge” have significant negative impact on women entrepreneurial success, while all the other challenges identified in the previous research such as lack of emotional intelligence, lack of family support, poor risk taking behaviour, gender stereotype were not significant in influencing women entrepreneurial success. Family and social support, and risk-taking behaviour were found contradict with other previous researches indicating that women entrepreneurs are becoming more independent due to the changing norms and cultural values. In conclusion, women entrepreneurial success largely dependent on the work experiences, relevant skills/competencies and industrial know-how they acquired and mastered to effectively manage and grow their businesses. It is recommended that women-entrepreneurs in Small Medium Enterprises(SME) shall invest in continuous learning to gain more relevant skills/competencies, knowledge, industrial know-how and experiences to sharpen their competitive advantages and sustain continuous development and growth. Therefore, it’s highly recommended that government should formulate policies to promote women entrepreneurship through effective and practical trainings. This study will be useful for women entrepreneurs to develop themselves by investing themselves to gain knowledge by participating academic programs and industrial based network conferences. Entrepreneurial development authorities or bodies will be able to use this study to develop and design human resource development intervention program to enable women entrepreneurs to be more successful. Future researchers can increase the sample size and focus on similar type of small medium enterprise owners in terms of sector or industry and size. Also the future researchers can used a mixed method in collecting data to provide a more coherent and meaningful conclusion.
This research aims to find out the effect of the use of animation based learning media on the learning interest of students in grade VII Alimuddin Islamic High School in Probolinggo regency. The use of animation based learning media is expected to help the learning process and improve student learning outcomes.This study used the research method namely quantitative research with correlation analysis. While the sample taking technique used Sampling where the sample used was grade VII Alimuddin Islamic High School non Probability Sampling, which amounted to 45 students. The research instrument in this research damaged the likert scale with Aangket inserts 10 questions with 4 questions. Data collection techniques use archivist based observation and angkets. Research obtained in this study indicates that this calculation t is uncountable -35.206 and t table calculation (-)1,68. So calculate (-35.206) > t table 1.68 or significant 0,000 < from 0,05 So there is the animated learning media influence over class learners interest in grade VII Alimuddin Islamic High School. Meaningless H0 : rejected and Ha : received. Which means that there,s an animated learning media influence over class learners interest in grade VII Alimuddin Islamic High School Probolinggo Regency.
This study aims to get an overview of the role of Surau in the formation of children's character and the forms of internal activities carried out in developing the character formation of school-age children. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach by revealing all phenomena and meanings naturally. This research successfully explored: firstt, surau in the formation of character education for school-age children by carrying out a routine program in the form of discussing the book of the Malay Parukunan in which contains discussion of creeds, morals, and worship as well as reading the Qur'an and following wirid. Second, form of development of character building for school-age children through surau with the activities of school-age children who are carried out every month has been carried out, besides that the implementation of PHBI activities has been carried out following the schedule listed in the calendar. Third, supporting factors for the formation of school-age children through surau are: the participation and active role of the community, supporting facilities and infrastructures in every activity carried out by school-age children, such as the presence of chalkboard, microphones, platform, and the room of the mosque big enough to accommodate those present. the attention of the management of the mosque to the activities of school-age children is also one of the factors of the success of the activities carried out.
Masalah pada penelitian ini disebabkan oleh proses pembelajaran PKn kurang menarik di SMP Islam ABD.Wahid Pajarakan Kulon Probolinggo, karena guru PKn menggunakan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi nilai-nilai demokrasi pembelajaran PKn. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Adapun subjek penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru, dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh temuan bahwa dalam implementasi nilai-nilai demokrasi di SMP Islam ABD.Wahid sudah menjalankan nilai-nilai demokrasi dengan semaksimal. Oleh sebab itu mengurangi porsi ceramah dan memberikan penugasan atau diskusi.
