On the earlier days, considerable effort has been put into building a database of plant diseases that is sufficient to develop effective methods for the detection and recognition of plant diseases. Since then, nutrition become an important factor throughout Asia, where the poorest people live. At the moment, the main purpose of agriculture is to produce and nourish the nation. Diagnosis and identification on a very large scale area through automated procedures is very helpful as it reduces labor, time and cost of diagnosing and diagnosing disease symptoms. The project reports on the novel's method of diagnosing diseases in rice leaf by employing an advanced algorithm such as the modified SqueezeNet to enhance accuracy to a greater stage. Incorporating the loss reduction process as one of the categorical cross entropy to enhance accurate level. An improved application is being developed where we can capture the image of the affected crop and propose the type of chemical fertilizer that will be used by the farmer to reduce crop losses due to improper fertilizer use.
The last few decades have seen the importance of education increasing in the subcontinent. A steep rise in the emphasis on girls' education is also observed in India. The current education scenario in the country requires students to get very high scores at higher secondary level for admission into reputable colleges and universities. This study intends to understand the predictors of academic performance by gathering opinions from female students. The relative weights of the predictors, namely self-discipline, student interest, study habits, teacher expertise, and family support, were computed based on the responses and presented. This study employed a multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) technique for the same. As the study involved vagueness, the fuzzy version was used. Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) is the MCDM technique utilized here. Student-participants were from cities, all belonging to the same stream and board of education. The study finds student interest to be a key predictor, followed by self-discipline, teacher expertise, study habits, and family support, respectively. The results imply that studying with interest can influence academic performance to a great extent. This study will be helpful to researchers, academicians, schools, and parents. It is suggested that investigations could be carried out with boys and students in other places and boards of education to throw more light on predictors.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
