Cell culture-based shark karyotyping as a resource for chromosome-scale genome analysis

Abstract: Karyotyping is indispensable for validating genome assemblies whose sequence lengths can be scaled up to chromosome sizes using modern methods and is traditionally performed using cytogenetic techniques.
